The location was beautiful and the nearness to the ferry terminal was a bonus.
located on the water, is clean and well cared for, and has breakfast
No swimming pool
Location next to ferry and a great resturant with a wonderful view from water front room on third floor
It was so close to the ocean. It was modern and clean and the staff were great.
Beautiful location and view from the room was amazing. Very helpful and friendly staff.
My son and I stayed for one night only and we were very pleased with the comfort and service. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Thanks we will stay again.
Great location, we used it as a stopover on our way back tomVancouver, BC when arriving on a late flight from Washington DC. can highly recommend the hotel, staff very friendly at late check in, 11:pm. Room was spacious, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was great the next morning. We will definitely choose this hotel again.
The room and hotel were very comfortable and attractive.
good for personal travel; clean friendly ; great breakfast
parking is really tight
Half moon window with no curtains
We enjoyed our stay very much and the staff were very friendly, the room very clean and a step up used glass's and real cups rather than plastic or paper. The only thing missing was the lack of restaurants. The ony two their always had a long wait
Personnel at front desk were very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and classy. Price was reasonable. Recommend!
Wonderful welcome and very nice room. We sat in the jacuzzi tub and looked out the picture window watching the ferry traffic come in and out. Great breakfast.
There wasn't much that I didn't like and the only I didn't give the hotel staff an "excellent rating" was because of the stark difference in checking in and checking out. The young woman who checked us in was so delightful and could not do enough for us. Made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The young woman who checked us out really couldn't be bothered and didn't seem to care if we were there or not and I thin would have preferred it if we weren'T.
The Silver Cloud is unique in design and different than the large chain hotels. It feels more like home with comfortable overstuffed furniture, fireplaces and sea theme decor. Normally Silver Cloud is moderately expensive but we got a recent very reasonable rate.
No complaints. However, the breakfast is not served until 7:30 on the weekends. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and had to have the players at the gym by 7:30. Therefore, we did not get to enjoy the complementary breakfast.
The location is excellent, only 20 minutes from downtown Seattle, right next to the Whidbey Island ferry and near excellent shopping areas. Boeing airfield and museum are nearby. Many, many restaurants and next door to excellent quality family restaurants/pubs. Will recommend to anyone of any age group with or without children. The hotel lobby feels like you walked into a home, it is welcoming, charming, and elegant. The room was spacious. Our room was on the street side and if possible, would have rather had a waterfront room; luckily, Mukilteo enjoys many beautiful views. The room was very clean. Bed linens and mattress were excellent. All appliances (tv, refrigerator, microwave) worked perfectly.
The breakfast gets boring very quickly especially if you are staying there for more than 3 days. A hotel of this quality and charm (as well as the quality of all it's staff ) can easily afford a person to prepare made to order eggs (omelets or sunny side up, etc.) instead of instant egg beaters made in a microwave and offer a variety of meats and cold cuts, smoked salmon instead of unhealthy breakfast sausages. There is a waffle maker and fresh fruit bread and many pre-packaged jams and spreads. The hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, which is why it could trouble itself for a better quality breakfast-- or offer only a continental breakfast. Also, in such lovely setting an afternoon tea option would be wonderful.
